Muslim Women’s Cooperation Urged in India

(Ahlul Bayt News Agency) - Muslim women’s cooperation for development and dissemination of Islamic and Quranic culture was stressed at the Holy Quran forum held on January 9 in Uttar Pradesh State of India.The program was held with the presence of Nikhat Jahan and Junaid, Muslim female activists in Islamic affairs, Abdul Qoddus Hashemi and Mohammad Shakil, memorizers of the entire Quran.Addressing the forum, Nikhat Jahan referred to dissemination of Islam at the region and said that Muslims in India, particularly women of all groups should get involve in dissemination of Islamic culture.She stated that the holy Quran is the best means of human guidance, and Muslims should live a life based on the teachings of the Divine book./129
